Country and Blues Festival
Aug 3, 2024 - 6:30 to 9:30 PM
$25 ($20 online in advance)
On Aug 3, the Lindsay Theater will be presenting a mini festival of country and blues. Starting at 6:30 pm, Hanford-based 82 Deluxe will take the stage with their brand of outlaw country mixed with rockabilly and some Central Valley twang. Known for their dynamic “outlaw style performance,” 82 Deluxe continues the tradition of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens.
Finishing the night will be the globe-trotting band, Dirty Cello playing their unique version of wild sexy blues and Americana. The Dirty Cello band has performed everywhere from Iceland to Alaska and presents a unique blend of danceable, wailing blues with a bit of Americana style country, and a whole lot of fun. The LA Times described the group as, “The group seamlessly careens from blues to bluegrass and rock in a way that really shouldn't make sense but somehow does.”
Come sit and enjoy the music in the air-conditioned hall or hit the dance floor and show everyone that the Central Valley knows how to party.
